I am looking for replacement bulbs for a 1985 T-bird. The bulbs are for the instrument panel speedometer. The bulbs are marked as SYL 2033. After doing some checking I'm finding out the bulbs are hard to find and expensive. Any ideas were the best place to purchase these bulbs might be. The ones that I ordered from the Ford dealer were different, but did fit in the socket.

| The lamp for the digital speedo are halogen and are not easy to find. I see them on ebay once in a while and they normally sell for around $5 to $10. If you do replace them, never touch them with your bare fingers as the oil from them will contaminate the lamp and soon fail. If you do touch them clean with isopropyl alcohol and let dry completely. Use a tissue to place around the glass part to install and you should be good to go. |
