Can't have too many pictures I say. Did you keep the interior stock or are you planning on doing anything with it?

I have done some subtle changes but I dont want to change too much because then you loose what I think of as a very original and very cool interior. The headliner/sail panels where changed to a swade bone (very close to the stock color) leather, all the interior metal pieces that surround the pilars and doors and rear package tray where color matched to the outside top color of the car as well as the center console. Seats are stock, I will be changing over to a Billet Specialties steering wheel that mimics the wheels. The only thing I may try and see how it looks is to get a spare stock guage cluster, removed the stock guages and put a nice set of autometer guages.

I desperatley need new door panels! LOL

Funny, you've changed the look of the car so much that I just realized it's a Townie!
Very nice, and well-done.

Thanks a lot. Mr. Green I find its one or the other, many of the older gents that own thunderbirds don't like it. They like the fully restored route. I got the cold shoulder from one gent at a car show but maybe its cause I took second place instead of him. LOL

Beautiful, I mean real sexy she is.

I am going for a similar look, but want to keep the factory Green Metallic. Question, what back spacing are you running up front? I am looking at a set of American Eagle Style 338, 18" x 8" Finish: Black spokes with polished lip
Bolt Pattern: 5-lug, 5 x 4.5" Offset: +2mm, Backspace: 4 1/2" . I want the rims painted same color as car.

Thanks for advice. DL

Gawd sorry about the lack of response, I didnt even notice, I cant remember the backspace to be honest, I will be pulling off the front wheels to check the brakes as soon as next week, Ill make sure to let you know asap! One thing is that even with the measuring that I did ( I must have re measured at least 10 times) I still was off a bit and had to shave the large ridge that runs down the side of the caliper. Considering that they where custom made wheels to my measurments with a no return policy I cut it waaay too close. I just wanted as much dish as I could. Ill add a bit extra to my measurement! LOL

I plan on grinding down the caliper lip as well to get the maximum clearance. Thanks

Just be careful when doing so, I do not know if there are internal passageways behind that ridge for brake fluid or if they are there simply for strength or even cooling, I removed the min amount possible simply because I do not know the purpose of that ridge.

Lookin' good!
Besides having a real nice 'bird, you seem to know a good way of taking pictures that enhance your ride.

No they are actually crome versions of what came on the camaros/corvette during the late 90s. They are a bit wider and more narrow than the mopar ones. Good guess though! Wink

I keep trying to get good shots of the lower color, the pics dont do it justice. All ways tends to just look black.
