Can anyone help me find a throttle body for an '05? The Throttle Position Sensor on the car I bought used was attached to the throttle body with "loc tite" and the bolt heads sheered off when my mechanic tried to remove the TPS to replace it. Ford says they didn't attach it that way originally and that throttle bodies are on "indefinite backorder". Am I the only one with this problem? If they aren't having a problem with this, why are there no parts available? Same engine as Lincoln LS and Jaguar S.
Thanks,

There's a solution that you can use that Loc-Tite makes to melt the Loc-Tite that is on there. Your mechanic should know this. Can he use an easy out to get the sheared bolts out?
