Volume 3 Original Factory Specifications; 1958-60 Thunderbirds

The Volume 3 OFS proved to be more expensive than estimated. Discussion with the printer said the task of printing it was more than estimated as separating the color from the black and white was to labor intensive and the cost would be more. The price for a color version would be $160.00 delivered in the states / $175.00 to Canada / $180.00 to all others.

I asked the supplier to run some Black & White copies to price them out. It came to

$80.00 States / $95.00 to Canada / $100.00 to all other.

A CD Version is being considered.

The OFS arrives as such….In a binder with cover sheet / Three hole punched and shipping included in the price. We need to place the OFS pages in a binder and box it for shipment protection. Every little add on means more cost, however this is what we need to do to get this OFS to you. VTCI is not making a profit on this publication, however we must charge what it costs to print and ship this large volume of very detailed material.

I had some square bird owners give me their opinion of the color version and if it was worth the price we have to charge. The reviews were all very positive in that the 375 page OFS is very detailed. That several items one member had questions about were answered in the first three color pages he looked at….and he was doing a 430. This OFS is the most extensive thorough tech publication on a square bird available and only available to VTCI members.

Maybe TOO extensive / expensive….however ….if you are restoring a square bird….INVALUABLE.  That is what it costs to publish this behemoth of a tech pub. ALL YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SQUARE BIRDS AND MUCH MORE !
